All of the Spartans were dead and Leonidas had already sent a spear flying to kill Xerxes, he fails and istead the spear only cuts and takes away some of the rings on the left side of his face. Leonidas is killed by a black cloud of arrows from Persian arrows. The Spartan army was sent to battle and the fought the Persians after they left the bodies of the 3 hundred behind.
