In this image we see Harry trying to protect Sirius (his godfather) soul from being taken by the Dementors. Harry is also being attacked by the Dementors and is weak. When he looks up he sees a patronus on the other side of the lake. Thanks to this patronus Harry and Sirius are saved from a horrible death. When he thinks back to this moment he remebers that he saw his dad summon the patronus that saves him and Sirius. Later on the movie he goes back in time with Hermine and discovers that he was the one that made that extraordinary patronus appear.
