In this image we see Malcolm run away from the T-Rex. There was one of the workers who was stealing some of the DNA samples from the lab, he locked his computer preventing anyone else to access it. As a huge thunder storm drew near the island, the power went out, taking out the electric fence and any other protection agains the predators of the island. This T-Rex had already attacked the other car where Dr. Hammond's grandchildren where traveling with Dr. Grant. Malcolm was luring the dinosaur away from them.
