In the first image we see Selene along with other cleaners who had been sent by Marcu's father so that she could find William. William's hidding place is only known by Selene and she has the key to open the cofin where he is. The place is now under water. The second image is toward's the end of the movie when Selene fight Marcus and defeats him and Michael kills William. The theory that if the first vampire or lycan would die the whole race would die with them. After William and Marcus death, Michael and Selene are still alive, she now immune to sunlight.
