Blade has fallen in love with Nyssa and he saves her from the detonating solar bomb that they used to get rid of all of the Reapers that were hidden under the sewers. After this Blade is captured and taken to Damaskino's hideout. After Nyssa learns that Nomak is in fact her brother and that he was an experiment gone wrong renounce to her place as a "queen" and lets Nomak byte her. After Blade and Nomak fight and Blade comes out victorious, he takes Nyssa out to see the sunrise per her request to die as a vampire.
